Have You Ever Had Surplus And Then Nothing

bag-of-goldYou know we always say just a little faith can open big doors for you but there are times that you choose to believe that maybe the Heavens is truly shut on you. I remember coming to the USA in 1999 and the challenges that came with being an immigrant. We came into this country with “surplus” compared to other people’s story that I heard. In a matter of about six months, before we knew it all the “surplus” money had been used to pay bills and we had no income yet. My hubby came home that cold night and I said to him there is nothing in the house to eat, we had nothing, no cash and no food for the next beautiful day. Thank you Lord for the man of faith whose trust is in You alone. I went to bed filled with the fear of tomorrow; I cried my eyes out thinking about my nine year old twins. My husband got up in the middle of the night (Psalms 61:1 says O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is). He went and opened the refrigerator and cried out to God with tears. The scripture he used to pray is found in Psalms 37:25 which says I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

Have you ever thought your case is hopeless? Have you ever been in a place of desperation?

God came through for us the following day!
We went to pick up our mails and there was a credit card in the mail for $500.00. We could not have applied because we had no credit history; this was God’s divine MIRACLE. We were not too sure if it was a real card or not, so we took couple of clothes to the dry-cleaners (to test the credit card) and told them we wanted to pay in advance for the service. The credit card was genuine; we ran to the store and did grocery. Our God is a faithful and Good Father and He is Merciful. Thank you Lord...
