As We Start A New Year…We Need Financial Goals!

money-treeMy favorite saying has always been “If you do not plan them you are planning to fail”. Thank God for grace to see 2016 and I pray that ALL Gods promises for us will come to pass in Jesus Name, Amen.

Early this year there was so much noise about the “Powerball” and I remember watching an interview on people who had won huge amounts and their lives went downhill instead of getting better as they believed by playing the lottery. Lord have MERCY...

First of all, first thing first, let us Honor God this year! If we do this, God promises us in Malachi 3:10 (b) “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it”.

We need to have a budget which is our income and expense to help us have an overview of our financial position to this year.

Have you ever been in a position whereby you are rejoicing a year is coming to an end and at the same time having a bad feeling about the debts that would be carried forward to a brand New Year?

If I may ask; what are your goals for this year, in 5 years and 10 years?

Goals could be but not limited to saving $x this year, payoff a credit card debt, increase mortgage payment, save to buy appliances, give more to charity, increase offering , save for education etc.

God is Faithful! If you tithe and follow kingdom principles concerning the wealth God has entrusted to you, you can never lack. There will be “storms” but be rest assured that God who has brought you this far will never leave or forsake you. He that waters will be watered...
